Sarah J asked:
I’m already a tutor rep at college, but how can I prove to universities that I have good leadership qualities?

you can’t prove it. it’ll be your personal nature. you’re either an assertive personality or you’re not but best of luck from me.

Leadership is a skill and you will get that from command and management. In this case you might not be able to prove that you are a good leader unless you worked someone in the university who can refer you or unless you go for an interview where you can display you leadership skills by talking about it.

As tempting as it is to encourage you to take over the UCAS while shouting “How do you like my leadership qualities NOW, dogs?”, this would in all likelihood be a poor choice that would come back to bite you later.
Do you have any past experience that demonstrates leadership? Student government? Done research of any kind? Have you been a part of any grassroots efforts or organizations? Any volunteer work in your community, church or social group? Anything that reasonably demonstrates your ability to lead and/or your desire to improve the world around you will reflect favorably on you.
